My Story

Currently, I'm working at Facebook as a Product Designer on the Gaming team. I work on the recently launched Tournaments product as well as Gaming Video.

Outside of work, I love writing about my personal and professional experiences on Medium and regularly share my design-related work on Dribbble. Also, I'm a huge fan of talking about my learnings and experiences to the public as I've been engaging in a lot of speaking opportunities here and there.

Due to overwhelming request and to better prioritize my time, I'd appreciate if you could book a time with me on Clarity for any questions related to mentorship, portfolio feedback and more.

Empathy helps in many ways when building a great product and experiences. Building empathy doesn't just mean that you should aim to create beautiful design or fulfill the basic need of the users. What's more important is that as a designer, you should discover the hidden or true need that's rooted in the user's daily tasks and life style. Something that we aren't able to find out from looking at quantitative data/metrics.

Facebook Ads Split (A/B) Testing Product

At Facebook, I'm currently designing for a product called Split Testing which lets marketers to run A/B testing for their ads. Our product lies within the Facebook Ads Manager tool which is an essential place that our marketers come day-to-day to setup, run and see the results for their campaigns.

Through understanding and interpreting data, we've been constantly improving our product experiences and investing in new features. Overtime, I've learned to understand the data-informed approach to design as well as producing high quality UI and prototype for the purpose of running experiments.

A successful marketing plan relies heavily on the pulling-power of advertising copy. Writing result-oriented ad copy is difficult, as it must appeal to, entice, and convince consumers to take action. There is no magic formula to write perfect ad copy; it is based on a number of factors, including ad placement, demographic, even the consumer’s mood when they see your ad.

facebook ads reach & Frequency product

In the Summer of 2017, I interned at Facebook on a product called, Ads Reach & Frequency within Advanced Measurement. During the three months period, I designed and shipped a total of six projects which all aimed to provide our marketers with meaningful and interactive data points for their campaigns.

Reach is a term that refers to the total number people that have been exposed of the ad and frequency is the average number of times a user sees your ad.

linkedin conference app

There are hundreds and thousands of professional conferences across the globe. While a lot of people come to seek new insights, learn and present, a huge chunk of people also look for networking opportunities with other attendees.

However, initial discoveries were made that actually, there are some gaps in how attendees network with others not only during the conferences but also, before and after the conferences.

Therefore, the motivation to work on this project began there. Ultimately at the end, I came up with a product idea called, “LinkedIn Conference” and it was a decision I made based on the findings throughout my design process.
